Welcome
to St. Timothy's
from Reverend Jill Alventosa-Brown
Dear
Friends,
Greetings
in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
On
behalf of the congregation of St. Timothys United Methodist
Church I welcome you to our website and invite you to come and visit
us on Sunday mornings for Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and Worship
at 11:00 a.m. We are located in a beautifully wooded setting at
the corner of Bridford Parkway and Hilltop Road in the Adams Farm
area.
St.
Timothys Church is a community of Christian believers that
follows the very Wesleyan practice of putting faith into action.
We strive to maintain a balance between worship, prayer and study,
and reaching out in service to the needs of our community and world.
We believe that God has given each person gifts and talents that
are waiting to be discovered or developed and it is our aim to help
one another in that discovery process. Wherever you are on your
walk of faith, we want to share that journey with you.
This
journey of discipleship is exciting and joyful, and we pray that
you will join us on this journey as together we grow in Christian
love and service to God and our neighbors.
May
the peace of Christ be with you,
Jill
